History[]
2025[]
On February 14, 2025, AUDIOLOGIE Co., Ltd. announced that they were working closely with Dreamtonics Co., Ltd. to eventually upgrade their current lineup of voice databases to Synthesizer V Studio 2, and that existing owners of ANRI Arcane, JUN, and NOA Hex would receive preferential (discounted) upgrade options as soon as pre-orders become available.[1]
One month later on March 14, JUN Nocturne, the Synthesizer V Studio 2 version of JUN, was announced,[2][3] and pre-orders for its upgrade version (the discounted option for existing JUN owners) were opened online, with release date set for around the month of May;[4] some time later, pre-orders for its regular version (for new customers who never owned the original JUN) were opened. On March 20, a physical add-on option bundled with merchandise (an acrylic stand, a metal can badge, an A6-sized holofoil postcard, a holographic concert ticket with a QR code for a digital bonus, and additional gifts) was announced for pre-order, to be released on May 31; no software would be included with this add-on, as this was meant to be paired with either digital-download option (regular or upgrade).[5]
JUN Nocturne released on May 31, 2025 as expected.
On July 23, shortly after he was updated to version 201, AUDIOLOGIE started to offer a seven-day trial version of JUN Nocturne to allow users to try his improvements.[6]
On September 30, JUN Nocturne was added to AH-Software Co. Ltd.'s AHS Store.[7] On or around October 10, he was added to third-party Japanese retailers DLsite, Rakuten Books, and SONICWIRE.

Voice Databases[]
JUN Nocturne is able to sing more realistically through changes in volume and breath, further enriching singing details, making each singing unique, and providing creators with more options. Through this mode, he can use AI Retakes to create multiple "takes" of a sung section to find an ideal vocal without the need for "laborious tuning". This feature is only available in the Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro Editor.
It is to note that this voice database has no retrocompatibility with the Synthesizer V Studio editor as it is an update of the existing JUN database for the Synthesizer V Studio 2 engine.- Phoneme format: ARPABET
- Through Cross-lingual Singing Synthesis, JUN Nocturne can sing in not only English but also in Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, Spanish, and Korean. This feature is only available in the Synthesizer V Studio Pro Editor.
- It should be noted that JUN's default language is set to English. He was confirmed to also be trained with Japanese songs to further optimize his Cross-lingual Singing Synthesis capabilities, especially through the "Tsubaki" Vocal Mode.
- JUN Nocturne comes with 15 variations in the Vocal Mode function. He retains the seven vocal modes from his original Synthesizer V AI voice database, along with eight new vocal modes exclusive to his new voice database:
- "Dark": A mature and slightly breathy tone. Effective range noted to be B2 ~ G#4.
- "Chest": Works with energizing lower-ranged songs. Effective range noted to be F2 ~ A3.
- "Soul": An expressive mode that would also change JUN's pronunciation. Effective range noted to be G3 ~ E4.
- "Power": The strongest tone that contained all belt samples. Ideally used for higher-ranged and high-energy types of songs. Effective range noted to be F3 ~ A4.
- "Light": A bright and lightweight tone. Effective range noted to be B2 ~ E4.
- "Tsubaki": A bright tone of voice with data primarily used to improve JUN's Japanese pronunciation and accent. It was designed specifically for English to Japanese Cross-lingual Singing Synthesis. Effective range noted to be C3 ~ G4.
- "Tsubaki" was named after the "Camellia japonica" flower.[9]
- "Soft": A breathy tone. Effective range noted to be A2 ~ F4.
- "Blaze": A dynamic, resonant tone ideal for bold, punchy pop-punk vocals. Effective range noted to be A2 ~ D5.
- "Solid": A powerful, resonant tone with dark, brooding qualities, ideal for emo and darker rock genres, delivered with weight and intensity. Effective range noted to be C3 ~ C5.
- "Chill": A smooth, airy head voice with elongated vowels, perfect for mellow melodies and a relaxed, ethereal sound. Effective range noted to be B2 ~ D5.
- "Velvet": A powerful, vibrant tone, blending smooth articulation with a soulful, rhythmic edge. Intended use for R&B and house. Effective range noted to E3 ~ A4.
- "Hush": A soft, breathy tone that conveys emotional vulnerability. Intended use on emotional and gentle melodies. Effective range noted to be A2 ~ C6.
- "Warm": A deep, resonant tone with powerful timbre, ideal for jazz. The smooth sound is intended for improvisational vocals. Effective range noted to be C2 ~ E4.
- "Rustic": A deep, nasal tone for lower-range jazz, adding an authentic, vintage feel to bluesy and traditional styles. Effective range noted to be D2 ~ G3.
- "Whiny": A bright, twangy nasal tone that shines in the higher range, adding a punchy, rebellious character. Effective range noted to be F2 ~ A4.
- With the use of his Vocal Modes, JUN would be able to handle "hard-driving up-tempo" songs, slow ballads, and everything in between, noting him to be a flexible voice.
