History[]
On February 7, 2025, Kyomachi Seika opened via GreenFunding a crowdfund campaign for a concert titled Songs that Transcend Time and Space III, to be held on September 14; the crowdfunder was expected to close on March 10.[1] On February 21, with 72% of the main goal reached, Seika announced its first stretch goal, in the form of a Synthesizer V 2 AI update for her singing voice database.[2] The crowdfunder's main goal was met early on February 26,[3] while the Synthesizer V 2-specific stretch goal was met the next day.[4]
On June 27, pre-orders for Synthesizer V 2 AI Kyomachi Seika (as well as SV2 updates for three other vocalists: Tsurumaki Maki, Haruno Sora, and Tsuina-chan) were almost simultaneously opened by AH-Software Co. Ltd.'s AHS Store, with release date set for July 24.[5] Both physical and digital editions were being offered, however only physicals were able to be pre-ordered at the moment (while digitals were added for pre-order to third-party digital storefront DLsite the next day). For the case of Seika 2 AI, special discounted physical and digital options for registered owners of her original Synthesizer V Studio voice database was also offered, but again only the physical discount (dubbed the "SV1 Kyomachi Seika Special Edition") was available for pre-order at the moment and only for a limited time (until July 24),[6] while the digital discount (dubbed the "Upgrade Code (Kyomachi Seika)") was announced to be made available "closer to release date" through Dreamtonics Co., Ltd.'s My Dreamtonics page and the AHS Store's MyPage.
On July 17, AH-Software launched seven-day trial versions for all four updated vocals, including Kyomachi Seika 2 AI, so that users could try them one week before release.[7]

Voice Databases[]
Seika 2 is able to sing more realistically through changes in volume and breath, further enriching singing details, making each singing unique, and providing creators with more options. Through this mode, she can use AI Retakes to create multiple "takes" of a sung section to find an ideal vocal without the need for "laborious tuning". This feature is only available in the Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro Editor.
It is to note that this voice database has no retrocompatibility with the Synthesizer V Studio editor as it is an update of the existing Kyomachi Seika AI database for the Synthesizer V Studio 2 engine.- Phoneme format: Romaji
- Through Cross-lingual Singing Synthesis, Seika 2 can sing in not only Japanese but also in English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, Spanish, and Korean. This feature is only available in the Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro Editor.
