History[]
2023[]
On September 14, 2023, AH-Software Co. Ltd. introduced a new character, Miyamai Moca, a second year high school student who loves cats, talks to herself a lot, and secretly works as an internet DJ.[1] She was created in collaboration with the project developer from TOKYO6 ENTERTAINMENT, Akasako; however, she was noted to not be a part of the TOKYO6 company.[2][3] She was announced to be released as a text-to-speech library for VOICEPEAK in 2024.[4]
2024[]
Her VOICEPEAK text-to-speech library, as well as the VOICEPEAK version of Tsurumaki Maki, were both released on February 15, 2024.[5] On February 17, AH-Software Co. Ltd.'s 200th live broadcast announced that Moca would be also developed for Synthesizer V AI, with no further details given regarding a release date.[6][7]
On July 14, it was announced that Miyamai Moca would appear as a guest at the "Songs Beyond Time and Space II" (歌は時空(とき)を超えてⅡ, Uta wa Toki o Koete II) orchestra concert promoted by Kyomachi Seika.[8]
On August 30, Miyamai Moca's Synthesizer V AI illustration was officially revealed, confirmed to be illustrated by Miko Fly, and her release date was announced for September 26. Pre-order reservations were opened the same day and would be available as physical and digital download editions, including both standalone and Starter Pack options.[9] A total of six vocal mode variations were announced: "Cheeky", "Cute", "Soft", "Mellow", "Powerful", and "Cool"; and four demonstrations were released following the announcement by Utsu-P, Chom-P, Haraguchi Sasuke, and Wada Takeaki.[10][11][12] In addition, she also received an official 3D model for MikuMikuDance based on her Synthesizer V attire, created by Tsumidango, as well as reference artwork also illustrated by Miko Fly.[13][14]
The "Songs Beyond Time and Space II" concert was held on September 15, where she performed a solo of "I Dreamed a Dream" and a duet of "Breath ~Another~" with Tsurumaki Maki.[15]
Synthesizer V AI Miyamai Moca was released on September 26 as expected; a Lite version was announced and released on October 10.[16]

Voice Databases[]
With Diffusion Probabilistic Models (DPM), Moca can sing more realistically through changes in volume and breath, further enriching singing details, making each singing unique, and providing creators with more options. Through this mode, she can use AI Retakes to create multiple "takes" of a sung section to find an ideal vocal without the need for "laborious tuning". This feature is only available in the Synthesizer V Studio Pro and Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro editors.
- This does not apply to the Lite version.
- Phoneme format: Romaji
- Through Cross-lingual Singing Synthesis, Moca can sing in not only Japanese but also in English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, and Spanish. This feature is only available in the Synthesizer V Studio Pro and Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro editors.
