History[]
Yamine Renri was originally released as an UTAU voicebank on September 28, 2014. She had since received multiple voicebanks and was regarded as a well-known Japanese UTAU, even to the extent of receiving many original songs.
A demo showcasing Renri's Synthesizer V voice database was uploaded on September 28, 2018. Renri's voice database was a straight port from her UTAU voicebank and was made to test the capabilities of Synthesizer V with permission from the voicebank creator herself. The intro of the demo's video noted that it "should not be misconstrued as implying that Synthesizer V [would] support UTAU voices. The plan to support a customizable voice yet depends on various pre/post-release issues". Renri was made available to the public as a Synthesizer V vocal on November 11 that year. Her Synthesizer V version was confirmed to be managed in collaboration with VOLOR.
Retirement[]
Renri's Synthesizer V voice database was retired upon release of Synthesizer V Studio in July 2020. During that time, Renri was the only first generation Synthesizer V voice database that had not been updated to the new engine yet. Her Standard voice database was officially released on October 13, 2021.[1]
2021 Licensing Modification[]
On July 22, 2021, Renri's licensing terms were modified and Yuzuri made this announcement on Twitter the following day.[2] VOLOR confirmed that these changes were also applicable to her Synthesizer V voice databases regardless of which version.[3]

Voice Databases[]
- This voice database is a straight port of Renri's UTAU voicebank. It was made to test the capabilities of Synthesizer V with permission from Yuzuri, Renri's voice actress.
- Renri's sub-libraries are consisted of her three UTAU voicebanks: NORMAL, CLEAR, and WHISPER. This did not include her EDGE voicebank.

- On December 28, 2018, a thread was made by Kanru Hua on the official Synthesizer V Forum for users to report pronunciation problems. All voice databases were mentioned at least once.
