On February 13, 2025, Dreamtonics Co., Ltd. opened pre-orders for Synthesizer V Studio 2 on its international store, as well as pre-orders for Synthesizer V 2 AI versions of all of its signature voice databases, including Yun Quan 2. The release date was set to March 21. Also, a limited-period campaign was launched that would allow current owners of Dreamtonics' Synthesizer V AI voice databases (like Yun Quan) to upgrade them to their Synthesizer V 2 AI versions at deep discounts.^[2]

Yun Quan 2 was released on March 21 as expected.

This is the Synthesizer V Studio 2 version of Yun Quan, a feminine Mandarin Chinese voice database created with the impression of, and confirmed to be voiced by, a young girl. As an AI vocal, this enables her to sound realistic and human-like. She was created with the impression of child singers, aiming to provide creators with a voice that matched the style of children's songs.

Vocal traits as noted:

Yun Quan's voice was described to be full of the energy and elegance of a young girl.
Her voice was described to have "a unique blend of childlike innocence in the way she pronounces words", while coupled with the gentleness and brightness that's unique to feminine vocals. This captured the joy and innocence that's important to the atmosphere of children's songs.
Yun Quan has a soft and simple voice, which would provide a warm and gentle tone to any song.
Yun Quan 2 is able to sing more realistically through changes in volume and breath, further enriching singing details, making each singing unique, and providing creators with more options. Through this mode, she can use AI Retakes to create multiple "takes" of a sung section to find an ideal vocal without the need for "laborious tuning". This feature is only available in the Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro Editor.

Through Cross-lingual Singing Synthesis, Yun Quan 2 can sing in not only Mandarin Chinese but also in English, Japanese, Cantonese Chinese, Spanish, and Korean. This feature is only available in the Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro Editor.
